Leadership and Volunteering

Maplewood Lacrosse club is a 501(c)3 run by many volunteers who want to share their love of "medicine game" with the Maplewood/South Orange Community. MLC is committed to having a positive, fun culture.

Our coaches are all certified by USA Lacrosse.

We are always looking for volunteers to help in ways big and small. Perhaps you have a few hours on a Sunday to set up or break down the fields, run the clock, or work the snack tent or want to manage something bigger. No lacrosse experience needed for many jobs!

Open Positions:

PR: We are currently looking for someone to post upcoming events on social media and to send info out clinic and league sign-up info to the elementary and middle schools HSA flyers a few times a year.

Give Back Organizer: We are also looking for someone to help MLC continue its tradition of giving back to the lacrosse community by partnering with another organization.

MLC Leadership

Damon Webber

Current president of the Maplewood Lacrosse Club. Damon has been an active coach with Maplewood Lacrosse Club for over 12 years. A lifelong love of lacrosse for the Princeton native drives him to continue playing himself well into middle age

Michael Doody

Michael grew up in Syracuse New York and fell in love with the game by watching the Gait Brothers and Powell brothers race up and down the Dome floor. Today he watches his son and daughter do that for the boys and girls 2032 teams. Michael stays busy scheduling games for the club and coaching as well.

Glenn Minerley

Glenn loves lacrosse. Pure and simple. With 10+ years of MLC service; this Long Island native and former college player is hyper focused on finding opportunities for Maplewood and South Orange kids to play the game that has given him so much.

Tim Gray

Tim and his wife have raised their 5 kids in Maplewood.. Tim helped coach his son's team through 8th grade in Maplewood Boys Lacrosse and his daughters teams with the Maplewood Girls Lacrosse Club. Tim continues to played the critical role as Treasurer for our club.
