Learning and Loving the fundamentals
Rotating stations will include stick skills like passing, catching, cradling, ground balls, shooting, dodging and games like hungry hippos, sharks and minnows and more.
One hour of a fun, upbeat, positive environment to PLAY and learn lacrosse.
Run by Maplewood Lacrosse Club coaches with CHS Lacrosse Players helping out.
Players grouped by grade and/or experience.

SUNDAY SCRIMMAGERS ARE ENERGETIC 2ND GRADERS WHO WANT A LITTLE FRIENDLY COMPETITION AFTER THE CLINIC
3-5 low-key scrimmages against other towns directly following Little Laxers clinics.
Times are subject to change. 2nd grade families will have the option to add this program when they sign up for Little Laxers.
Players will need all their gear on hand by the 2nd Little Laxers clinic date.

FINANCIAL AID. We want to make sure every kid in our community who wants to play lacrosse gets the opportunity to do so. If your family is receiving government assistance such as free lunch or experiencing financial distress, you may (confidentially) choose to waive the fees entirely or by 50% during registration. If you need the USA Lacrosse Membership fee waived and/or assistance with loaner equipment, please let us know and we will help.
LITTLE LAXERS REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Regulation Boys Youth Lacrosse Stick (no Fiddlesticks and the like). We have lots of sticks to borrow for the clinic but if your child is enjoying it, and you want to purchase a stick, check out our Equipment Page for recommendations.
Mouthguard: It should be moulded to your athlete's teeth and in a color other than white or clear.
Shoes: Turf Shoes/Sneakers or Artificial Grass appropriate Cleats
Water Bottle: Clearly labeled with your kid's name and a phone number.

Registration fees are fully non-refundable starting the Wednesday following the first clinic session.
Withdrawal in writing by 12/19/25 = Full refund (minus TeamSnap fees)
Withdrawal in writing between 12/20/25 and the Tuesday following the first clinic = Full refund of registration fee minus $25 pinnie fee and TeamSnap fees.
Insurance: Please consider purchasing Registration Insurance (RegSaver) during your registration in case your child needs to withdraw for a covered reason.
WEATHER
Lacrosse is played in hot, cold and all too often in rainy weather (as long as fields are not closed), but of course we would never play in any kind of dangerous weather.
