VOLUNTEERING & LEADERSHIP

Maplewood Lacrosse club is run by a group of very hard working volunteers who want to share their love of "medicine game" with our community or get some extra time in with their kids.  

The club is only possible because so many parents and community members donate their time.    Perhaps you have a few hours on a Sunday to set up or break down the fields, run the clock for a game or work the snack tent. Maybe you have time to occasionally update the club's (low key) instagram page, help distribute uniforms or do something a bit more managerial?   No lacrosse experience is needed for most roles.   Please send us a note and let us know how you are able help or look out for sign-ups for one time opportunities.

If you are a parent who wants to help out with our Spring Little Laxers Clinic, please reach out as well.   

It's also possible we might be looking for additional coaches depending on the grade.   MLC is committed to having a positive learning culture.  Please know that anyone who steps on the field to help coach must be USA Lacrosse Certified for insurance purposes.  This means completing the background check in addition to the training.   This year we are encouraging all of our coaches to complete a higher level of training.
